This is a painting I did for my (new!) mother in law, for her 60th birthday. The picture is of Corner Cottage in Bowland Bridge in south Cumbria. We have had some wonderful holidays here with Lucy’s parents and I wanted to do something special for her mum’s 60th, also as a thank you for all the hard work she put in in organising our wedding with us.
