I have had far more positive feedback on this painting than any other.

This was a very rewarding image to paint, as the colours are so warm and varied, and I like the composition. This was one of the first oil paintings I completed back in 2007. it was a useful learning experience, as I found out how adaptable oil could be to adjusting and correcting parts – I must have redone the man’s nose 10 times!
